Courses end when the videos do. Here, nothing counts until you have built it, defended it, and someone has vouched for it. You work in a small group, on a real project, with a mentor who reviews what you hand in and tells you when it is not ready.

The path

FROM BEGINNER TO BUILDER

  1. 01

    Learn to build

    You cannot code yet, or not on your own. You join a group of four or five and work through a real project together, with a mentor who reviews every hand-in and tells you plainly when it is not ready.

    Months 1–6
  2. 02

    Build without a map

    You can write code but not decide what to write. Here the briefs stop telling you how. You choose the architecture, defend it to people who will ask why, and rebuild it when the answer is not good enough.

    Months 6–18
  3. 03

    Build what does not exist

    You work on open questions with mentors rather than under them — proposals, experiments, things published for anyone to use. The line between teacher and student stops mattering here.

A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE WHO BUILD.

Four or five of you work together every day, on the same clock. When you are stuck, they are the first people you ask. Every week the whole guild sees what everyone shipped.
